AVID Carp Leads
Leads and lead shapes have remained the same over the past few years - until now that is.
Avid Carp leads have been designed to fit perfectly into whatever setup your fishing requires. If you’re into solid PVA bag fishing, distance fishing or wanting a lead to drop away then they have the perfect leads for you.
All Avid Carp leads have been coated to blend in with the background and their shape reduces detection. In testing and viewing underwater the results were outstanding.
There are FIVE different designs to choose from, with four different weights available in each style - 1.5g, 2.5g, 3.5g and 4.5g..
In-Line Bag
Solid PVA bag fishing has always been a devastating way of catching carp. The Solid PVA Bag has accounted for thousands of carp from easy day ticket runs waters to the hardest of carp syndicate waters around the country. Never before has a lead been designed for this awesome style of fishing. In addition to its low profile shape Avid have incorporated two small holes in the side. This is to prevent tangling and making sure you have the hookbait position correctly in the same place everytime. Simply insert a piece of PVA foam and hook in your rig for perfect tangle-free casting.

Distance Swivel
Not just another distance style lead. Avid have purposely given it an oval shape instead of a round profile seen on other leads. This eliminates some movement when the lead is in flight and reduces roll. At the swivel end a flat is formed; this helps keep the lead stable in flight, reducing tangles. The swivel has also been coated to match the lead, helping the whole rig blend in with its surroundings.

In-Line Safety
The In-Line Safety is the ultimate in lead design. This lead incorporates a quick-change option with a safety lead clip set-up, all in one in-line lead. Unlike leads of similar design, the insert is very loose enabling you to adjust the tension needed for the lead to drop free just like a standard lead clip. If at some point you need to change the lead size then this can be done easily by just pulling the tail rubber away and sliding the lead off. Then, at the end of your session, you can quickly slide the lead free, preventing damage on your rods. For maximum efficiency, use in conjunction with Avid Tail Rubbers.

Flat Swivel
The Flat Swivel lead came about when Avid looked at how high some leads look when viewed underwater. They wanted a lead that would keep low to the ground and have even weight distribution. This lead did just what they wanted. Avid were so happy with this shape they continued the design into all their flat leads making sure they stay low and are less obtrusive when sitting on the lake bed. The Flat swivel lead flies extremely well and blends in very well in its surroundings making it a must-have lead for all.

In-Line Groove
Designed to be used not only as an in-line version but also the vogue out-line drop off lead version that is very popular if fishing a weedy water. The unique little groove along the lead allows for your leadcore, leader or line to sit correctly and without the thought of it being damaged this way, ensuring the lead drops free and the carp is safe.
