Super rugged in their construction the new Daiwa Opus reels are designed as the all serving tools of the Daiwa reel range. The 5500 model offered here would make an ideal spod or marker reel.
Their wide spool shape and large winding gear deliver enormous levels of power, enhanced further by the geared down ratio.
A large surface, micro adjustable drag, can be locked down on the larger models for powerful casting methods. Other refinements, such as Twistbuster and Infinite anti reverse, simply add to their incredible value for money.
