It is undoubtedly now the fastest spreading specimen species, with few UK coarse fishing rivers being without barbel as a resident. In the very established locations double figure fish are the norm and the tidal Trent for instance now offers a vast choice of untapped locations.
With it too however comes the variety of high average sizes and our design team recognise the need for more powerful test curve to the now standard 1.75lbs. The Twilight Barbel twin tips offer a 1.75 and 2.25lb test curve in two section and four section models. Their tip to middle action in both the fixed QT top and single top ensures accuracy for big feeder set ups but with all the control and forgiveness that is asked of barbel rods today.
