At 12ft the Drennan Esox Power Pikeflex is long enough to make an ideal bank fishing rod and is perfect for legered deadbaits or distance float work.
The high modulus carbon blank has full SIC guides and a responsive tip providing good line control. This tip will still cast deadbaits up to 6 or even 8oz and set hooks at distance.
The progressive action comes through into the butt section making the rod an excellent shock absorber ideal for subduing big, hard fighting pike.
Ideal reel lines are 10lb to 15lb mono or higher breaking strains of braid. |
