Drennan FD-3000 & FD-4000 Compact Front Drag Reels
These two new Drennan reels have a compact front-drag design. Both are ideal for float fishing and, in the case of the FD-4000 model, it is also an excellent feeder reel. The ultra smooth front drag can be finely adjusted and acts as a slipping clutch mechanism to help avoid line breakages.
Both reels come with two spare alloy spools which are designed to take 90 to 100m of popular float fishing monofilament reel lines in the 3-6lb breaking strain range. The absence of any backing line on these ultra shallow spools means you get perfect line lay every time.
Rubber buttons are included which can be used to identify the diameter or the breaking strain loaded onto each spool. They fit flush into the rim of each spool, directly opposite the line clip.
