Series Four of Fishing Gurus features scintillating action from top coarse fishing venues, spread across the UK. The shows are fronted by all-rounder Dean Macey, who is joined by a host of big-name anglers, ready to pass on their hard-earned tips for success!
Our journey begins with Dean targeting his favourite springtime species, the tench. He shows just how effective his bolt-rig tactics are for this popular species. The sweeping majsesty of the Wye Valley then provides the backdrop for two shows, in the first of which, Dean and match-ace Steve Ringer use contrasting tactics for barbel and chub. Dean explores the Wye Valley alone in show three, roving between likely looking swims in search of the elegant and powerful barbel.
For the next couple of shows we hop over to Europe for a fascinating tactical duel. UK duo Adam Rooney and Ali Hamidi take on European pairing Maurice Keulen and Ernesto Kamminga in a head-to-head in Holland. Who will come out on top in the battle for continental bragging rights?
Our next contest takes place back on UK soil, as Steve Ringer takes on former professional footballer Jimmy Bullard. It's a little-known fact that, as well as being a talented footballer, Jimmy is also a great angler and a worthy adversary for Steve.
Dean's on his own for show seven, and he shows how mobile and adaptable angling can be great fun on commercial waters. We stick with commercials for the final show, which follows top UK match men Steve Ringe and Adam Rooney as they put on a bagging-up masterclass, showing us the tricks and edges that help them win matches at home and abroad.
Whether you're an occasional match man, a hardened competitor or a pleasure fisherman, you'll learn how to get more bites, quickly.
