Drennan Acolyte Pro Telescopic Whips

Product Description

The Acolyte Pro Whip range is designed for ultra speed fishing to hand at close range, or close to medium range with the two longer whips. The whips are supplied with a spliced solid flick tip and a secure knotted Dacron connector.

The 2m whip is only 31g and yet strong and stiff enough to stand up to the vigorous demands of short, speed whip fishing. Its fast forward action is perfect when bagging Bleak, Roach and Dace on Rivers, Canals and Drains.

The 2.5m whip is still only 47g and is designed for similar fishing to the 2m whip, but at slightly longer range.

The 3m whip weighs in at just 56g, the 3.5m whip is 75g and the 4m whip weighs 98g. All three are strong, stiff but forgiving enough to safely swing or net bigger fish. Their forward actions are perfect when bagging Roach, Perch, Dace and Bleak on Rivers, Stillwaters, Canals and Drains.

The 4.5m whip is only 129g yet and the 5m whip is 157g. Both are strong, stiff but forgiving enough to safely swing or net bigger fish. Their slightly forward progressive actions are perfect when bagging Roach, Perch, Dace and Bleak on Rivers, Stillwaters, Canals and Drains. Depths of up to 8ft can comfortably be fished to hand with the 4.5m whip, and up to 10ft with the 5m whip, making these two highly versatile pieces of kit.
