This oval groundbait feeder has a mottled green or brown finish for camoflauge. The flat bottom prevents the feeder rolling and the weight not only ensures it lands flat but also that it will not stand on its end.
The lead has also been intergrated into the feeder's body shell, adding strength to the frame, but mainly to allow the feeder to lie perfectly flat on the river or lake bed. The ultra low profile gives them a streamlined effect and doesn't allow flow to build up underneath the feeder, the pressure of which can move a feeder along the bottom causing tangles around the hooklength and ultimately missed fish!
A moulded in rolling swivel prevents line twist. Note these feeders cast very straight!
No holes in the top of the feeder means that the feeder will lift quicker off the bottom on retrieval avoiding snags.
