The Specialist Barbel 12' 1¾lb is an ideal test curve for a variety of waters from small rivers and fishing light leads in low summer conditions to casting feeders up to 4oz+ in stronger flows.

The Specialist Barbel 12' 2¼lb is designed for targeting bigger fish in larger rivers with strong flow where heavy leads and feeders up to 6oz+ are required.

These rods have been through a rigorous development and testing period with top-barbel anglers. Optimal reel lines for these rods are 8lb to 12lb. The olive blanks give them a classic look and the rods feature secure DPS 18mm reel seats, full cork handle, SiC guides throughout and a Hi-Viz Tip.
