A buoyant imitation peanut, soft enough to be used directly on a hook or hair rig. Best used in conjunction with real peanuts to produce a popped up or critically balanced bait. Resists the attention of nuisance species, including crayfish.
As a guide, 1 popup peanut will popup 1 or 2 real peanuts of similar size, with a size 6/8 hook. By varying hook or peanut size, a critically balanced bait can also be achieved.
Note: Always ensure that real peanuts are properly prepared before use - by placing in a sealed container with boiling water and leaving to soak for at least 48 hours.
