After 15 years the acclaimed Series 7 rods have been replaced as Drennan take advantage of new and improved materials and manufacturing techniques in their new range of Vertex rods.
This rod has a nice through action which is great for playing fish and for avoiding hook pulls. Ideal for commercial fisheries and all sizes of fish from F1's to bigger hard fighting carp.
Ideal float reel lines are 4lb to 6lb breaking strain (0.16 to 0.22mm) fished with lighter hook lengths. The rod is perfect for repeat casting all sizes of wagglers.
These new rods feature a high-grade cork handle with EVA casting grip, screw down reel seat, hook keeper ring, SiC guides throughout and stylish new Vertex branding.
