There are now four different models in the Drennan AS range, developed with 5 times World Champion, Alan Scotthorne.
The AS1 and AS2 pole floats have a balsa body, a special hardened paint finish, and hollow buoyant glow tips. The AS1 floats have tip diameters of 1.5mm whilst the AS2 version have 1.75mm diameters.
Both the AS1 and AS2 models are available in 6 different sizes, ranging from 0.1g to 0.6g
The new AS3 and AS4 versions are two newer families of pole floats featuring hollow glow tips, a super strong surface finish and improved wire eyes. they are designed for commercial fishery margins and just beyond.
The AS3 floats feature hollow glow tips, a super strong surface finish and improved wire eyes. With their slim, streamlined body shape and sensitive, hollow glow tip at just 1.25mm diameter, the AS3 floats are ideal for silverfish, F1’s and small carp. Available in six sizes, from 0.1g to 0.6g
The AS4 floats are perfect in 2ft to 4ft of water (60cm to 120cm). Their 2mm diameter hollow glow tips are big enough to support larger baits and buoyant enough to allow the angler to ‘read’ the difference between proper bites and liners. Available in four sizes, from 0.1g to 0.4g
